We provide Drone-based and Ground-based inspections. We can execute both automated and manual flight inspections.
Our Drone pilots are experienced and FAA 107 Certified, flying proven drone platforms integrated with state-of-the-art imaging and detection instruments for emission surveys.
We gather intelligence above the critical assets to identify the smallest leaks in order to reduce costs, minimize downtime, and resolve issues before they become citations or catastrophic events.
As part of that complete solution, our Engineering Team generates an inspection Report conveying all visual data and a leak analysis. These services allows our clients to see otherwise invisible fugitive emissions in the most efficient and cost-effective manner possible.

Operations
Pipeline Survey
Our drone-based laser absorption spectrometer is a long-range detector, which allows methane gas (CH4) to be detected while we fly above or underground pipeline survey line at distances of up to 50 m at as little volume as 1 pmm.m. Methane leaks are located by pointing the laser beam towards the suspected leak, or along the survey line. It detects methane by emitting infrared light and examining reflected light density.
When we detect a leak, we then use our drone-based optical gas imaging camera to collect radiometric temperature data, producing superb thermal images of pipeline to identify and visualize the exact location. It enables us to quickly pinpoint the failures, giving clear visual imaging of leaking hydrocarbons.
Pre-Purchase Survey
As part of every Due Diligence process preceding the purchase of any producing oil and gas assets, buyers attempt to identify all key field level issues including active and historical spills, leaks, and pollution from wells, pipelines, and facilities, however with limited time in the Due Diligence process, many liabilities remain unnoticed and the cost of repair and clean-up falls on the shoulders of the buyer.

With a pre-purchase survey by Drone Inspektor, the buyer can quickly identify these spills, leaks, and pollution, can present them in a report to the seller, and can negotiate the purchase price accordingly to account for the repair of such liabilities.
​Post-Corrective Survey
Once the repairs are made, the buyer can run a post-corrective survey to confirm all repairs and can use that to demonstrate such repairs to state regulatory agencies, and to demonstrate active maintenance and asset quality to potential future buyers of the same assets.
Pipeline and Gathering
Systems Survey
While the benefits of identifying leaks and spills related to major pipelines are clear and obvious using the drone and imaging technology from Drone Inspektor, smaller gathering systems from individual wells to the trunk line also have the potential for developing small or even larger significant leaks, and identifying those leaks, repairing the problems, then re-inspecting the gathering system all contribute to reducing emissions, and improving the economics of operating these systems.
Refinery & Gas Facilities Survey
Because of the high degree of accuracy and ability to pinpoint and identify small but meaningful leaks make the technology deployed and operated by Drone Inspektor critical to the routine inspection and maintenance program for every refinery.
